Liam D Gillies is a writer from Liverpool with absolutely no connection to the Beatles. He studied film at John Moores University and later went on to become one of the first people in the country to gain a Masters degree in writing comedy from Falmouth university.
When not working on horror projects, Liam writes and produces the half improv/half scripted interview satire podcast “Edquiring Minds with Stephen Edwards” which has been a mainstay of the British podcast scene and will be recording live episodes this year at the Blackpool, Nottingham and Edinburgh comedy festivals.
As a playwright Liam has had work staged in venues in Liverpool, London and Leeds and is currently working on an absurdist play entitled “I have decided to live the rest of my life with a box on my head”, in which the main character preforms with a box on his head for the full duration of the show. He does not expect this play to do well.
