Kevin O’Connor is a UK writer who graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with an M.A. in screenwriting in 2020. Prior to this he has written a short film that won the regional Manchester Kino Film Fest – Best regional Short, and the Royal Television Society Undergraduate Award for June and the Baba Yaga.
He has recently been shortlisted on the Grass Roots Prize for working class writers and was shortlisted for the Warner Bros. Discovery Access Writer’s Exchange Programme last year. He has self-published a novel, Names Will Never, available on Amazon, and is currently writing the first of a trilogy of fantasy books. Most recently he has script edited a feature film called The Worst Journey in the World, shooting in February.
