Darren Ross

Darren Ross is a working-class writer from Sunderland, living in London. Among hundreds of rejections, he has somehow managed to have half a dozen short plays performed at small theatres such as the Lion and Unicorn, the Pleasance, and the Bread and Roses in London, and the Kings Arms in Salford, plus online recordings, some of which can be viewed here: https://linktr.ee/dazzaross, as well as contributing material to BBC Radio’s Newsjack and The Skewer.

Darren has written half a dozen full-length plays, none of which have been staged. In 2020, his play ‘Isn’t Going To Get Any Greener’ was due to be produced…just before every single theatre in the country shut down for the first time in 350 years.

He has written his first novel and is actively looking for an agent. He is currently finishing his second novel and has just completed a full-length play about David Bowie.
